The accolades came pouring in for Daniel Paladini who was named to MLSsoccer.com's Week 6 Team of the Week and a finalist for Player of the Week, along with ranking in the MLS Castrol Index's Top 20. Unfortunately, Paladini's second assist was not determined until after the nomination and voting was complete. Reputable writers Ives Galarcep (Soccer by Ives) and Steve Goff (Washington Post - Soccer Insider) named Paldini their Player of the Week. Paladini later featured in the Chicago Fire's All-in Podcast. Have a listen HERE.
Perhaps the most memorable and unqiue award came at the recognition of Electronic Arts who named Paladini to FIFA '13 Ultimate Team of the Week. The team consisted of other world class players such as Cesc Fabregas, Xabi Alonso, Thomas Rosicky and Alexis Sanchez.
