On October 20, 2013, the New England Revolution announced at their last regular season home game that Captain Jose Goncalves earned the team's Defender of the Year Award as voted by Media.  In addition, the Revolution's Supporters' Group - The Midnight Riders - named Jose Goncalves Man of the Year for his outsanding play throughout the 2013 season by aggregating his Man of the Man performances and point allocation.  Goncalves has played every minute to date and has led the Revolution to a Club Record amount of Clean Sheets.  He has scored two game-winners against the Columbus Crew and Montreal Impact and been named to the MLS Team of the Week on six occassions as well as to the EA Sports Ultimate Team of the Week once.  Many heralded Goncalves as a frontrunner for MLS Defender of the Year at the half way point of the season and his play has put him in line for the end of season MLS Awards that will be announced throughout the next six weeks.  MLS Editors weighed in on the Defender of the Year Candidates with the majority choosing Goncalves.

Stone Sports Mangement would like to congratulate Jose Goncalves on these honors and for him during the final regular season game against the Columbus Crew in Columbus, Ohio.  Agent Justin Stone will be attending the match that has great importance for Jose and the Revolution.  A win will have them advance to the Playoffs for the first time since 2009 ending a 3-year drought.

New England Revolution Captain Jose Goncalves had a monster performance to help lead the Revolutino to a 1-0 road victory over the Montreal Impact.  Not only did he score the game's only goal but he also held the MLS Golden Boot leader Marco di Vaio off the scoresheet after he put two past the Revolution in their prior meeting.  Goncalves put in a Defender of the Year perfomance that has been recognized by the New England fans as well as Major League Soccer.  Goncalves earned the Sovereign Man of the Match, and MLS named Goncalves to the Team of the Week and additionally as a Top 3 Weekly Performer with Vancouver Whitecaps' Kekutah Manneh and the Chicago Fire's Mike Magee.  The clean sheet extended a Revolution club record to thirteen games with two matches to play.

On September 23, 2013, Indy Eleven announced that it was having a special celebration to commemorate three big announcements.  One of which was to name its first ever signing for the 2014 NASL Expanion Franchise.

Stone Sports Management is excited to announce that Indy Eleven and Head Coach and former US International Goalkeeper Juergen Sommer has chosen German Goalkeeper Kristian Nicht as the foundation signing for this exciting new franchise.  A Press Conference at Indianapolis' Rathskeller took place on October 1, 2013 in conjunction with the club unveiling its shirt sponsor (Honda) and kit sponsor for its inaugural 2014 season.

In 2005/2006, Bundesliga 2 named Kristian Goalkeeper of the Year as he helped Almenia Aachen to promotion. In February 2012, the Rochester Rhinos signed Nicht hoping that he would be the defensive lynchpin for the club as it lost the club's previous starter.  Kristian did not disappoint earning a North American record six straight clean sheets to start his Rhinos career and finished the season as the best Goalkeeper in USL Pro earning Goalkeeper of the Year honors.

Stone Sports Management would like to thank the entire Indy Eleven organization for its professionalism throughout the negotiation stage as well as the first class treatment in Indianapolis in anticipation of and through the First on the First Press Conference.  In particular, Stone Sports Management would like to thank President and General Manager Peter Wilt, Head Coach Juergen Sommer, Indy Eleven Owner Ersal Ozdemir, Director of Public Relations John Koluder, Soccer Operations Roberto Opice and the rest of the Indy Eleven staff for all their efforts.  

Kristian will be conducting interviews and meeting local business and political leaders throughout the week before he heads back to Germany for the off-season.  He will return to Indianpolis in January 2014 to start pre-season.  Congrats again to Kristian Nicht and the Indy Eleven Franchise!

Stone Sports Management would like to congratulate Alex Lee and Philippe Davies on capturing the 2013 USL Pro Regular Season Championship earning 55 Points in 26 Games. The pair have helped the Kickers to an league record 24 game unbeaten streak and peaked with a 2-0 win over the Orlando City Lions in front of 4,921 fans at the Richmond City Stadium.

Stone Sports Management is pleased to announce that Striker Aaron King has signed with current Ykonnen league leaders Haka FC in Finland.  The recently turned 29 year old striker from Denver, Colorado inks his first European contract after a recent stint with Phoenix FC in order to gain fitness after suffering a season-ending Achilles injury in 2012 while on trial in Europe.  The contract is for the end of the 2013 season with an option.

"I am very excited to begin this new challenge here in Finland. The professionalism has been top class, to be able to apart of one of the top teams in Finland is an honor.  I am looking forward to giving the team another option in the attacking third and am thankful for the opportunity that Haka has given me. I want to give thanks to Justin [Stone] and Sami [Salonen] for doing great work to get me in front of the right team here in Europe. I'm very excited to suit up for the next match in hopes of making a good debut here on European soil," remarked King after his signing.

King signed after impressing on trial and meeting with the Haka coaching staff and viewing the club's facilities.  King felt very comfortable with the group, including fellow North Carolina State alumn Koredi Aiyegbusi, and will look to lead Haka's attack for the remainder of the season with the goal to earn promotion to the Veikkausliiga.

"I am very pleased that Aaron has met his goal of finding a European club to experience and test his skills in a new setting.  After playing at every level here in North America (MLS, USL Pro, USSF Div. 2 and NASL), I am confident Aaron will scores lots of goals in the Ykonnen and help the club to promotion.  This is especially satisfying to see after Aaron suffered an injury in early 2012 while on trial in Europe, and it is great to see his hard work and determination rewarded.  This concludes the plan that we had set out days after his injury for him to find his way back to Europe in Summer 2013," says Agent Justin Stone.

Stone Sports Management would like to congratulate Jose Gonalves for being named to the EA Sports FIFA 2013 Ultimate Team of the Week for July 23, 2013.  Goncalves helped the New England Revolution by scoring the game winner against the Columbus Crew and earning a Revolution team record 11th shutout on the season.

On July 10, 2013, ESPN's popular show SportsCenter placed Chicago Fire's Daniel Paladini's goal against Chivas Guadlajara as the #1 play on its daily Top 10 Highlights.  Paladini captained the side and calmly volleyed home a Maicon Santos cross into the box after controlling the cross off his chest.
